About Rich bought me this model as a gift. I think it’s the best model I’ve painted so far, it was worth spending the extra time on it! I was really pleased with the highlights on the coat, top and sash. The rust ended up looking good too but I wasn’t entirely happy with the power sword. I think it’s alright for a first attempt but it wasn’t exactly as I intended. Overall I’m really pleased with the result.

About When I bought this it was not the best assassin in game but I do think it’s the coolest. I took a stab at doing volumetric highlights on the black suit and quite like the result. I tried to follow the advice to leave most of it black so that it reads as black vs other colours where you might cover a larger proportion with the highlights. ...

About I bought this miniature because it was going OOP and I liked the idea of having the old metal models, even if a new plastic one is released in future. This was the first time I’ve painted human skin, took the time to highlight it, and felt happy with the result. I really enjoyed it as a project, maybe because it wasn’t intended for gaming so there was no pressure!
